Can marijuana help with anxiety? The short answer is maybe. You first must understand that THC affects everyone differently. At Trill cannabis centers we have helped hundreds of people to understand the pros and cons for the use of Marijuana for anxiety. Some people do better with an Indica strain (more of a body High) while others get better results with a Sativa strain (more of a head high), and some get the best results using CBD, but some get even better results using both CBD & THC together it all depends on the person anxiety they are dealing with.
How much THC or CBD do I need to treat my anxiety?
- When using CBD/ THC there is no Magic pill or strain you can take to help with anxiety you will have to go through a little bit of trial and error.
- Start by keeping a journal and write down what you’re taking and when you’re taking it, this way you can see what is working best for you.
- Start off with low doses of CBD 10mgs three times a day for a few days. The CBD should help filter out some of the anxiety, but the question is how much and if I take a higher dose would that be better?
- Once you think about that question you then have to ask yourself what if I add some THC to my plan roughly 5 mg of THC to start? The THC will help relax you and increase dopamine levels (the brains pleasure in reward chemical).
